Fensa Windows And Doors

What Is Fensa ?

Fensa is the organization that regulates the whole window industry and was purposely created with government backing.

(1)  To protect the consumer from cowboys and companies that give the industry a bad name.

(2)  And to make sure there is a certificate, and at least the offer of an insurance backed guarantee.

Any windows or doors installed since 2002 would have to be subject to WER ratings and Fensa certification to prove to buyers of your property that all relevant work is above board, and that the correct double glazing have been installed.

Any Fensa registered company is subject to spot checks and all information is stored on a national database. Any company or trade found not complying are penalized.

What Exactly Is A Rated?

A Rated glazing is the best for efficiency when it comes to heat retention, noise pollution  and trying to combat the effects of condensation.

With the use of two lots of energy saving glass and Argon gas in the double glazed units.

The actual profile chamber of the windows which the glass units sit in, are insulation filled as standard on our A Rated Windows. This prevents cold spots around the windows that building control talk of.
